DESCRIPTION:Date: Saturday\, April 17\, 2021 \nTime: 9am – 3pm \nLocation: Rotunda Parking Lot\, 13200 Trumpeter Swan Court\, Upper Marlboro\, MD 20774 \nPerrywood Pool Pass Picture ID Card & Government Issued Picture ID Will be Required \n  \nAcceptable Materials\n\nCarpet and padding (Limit of carpet and padding is 324 sq. ft. – rolled and tied on ends)\nDoors and cabinets (limit of 3 each)\nFurniture and refrigerators (Limit of 5 appliances per pickup; doors must be taped shut)\nHot water heaters and lawn mowers (Remove the gas tank and drain the oil from lawn mowers)\nOther large materials/furniture items generated in the household that are not picked up by refuse collection\nSmaller household items:\n\nMust be placed in bags or boxes\nLimit any combination of bags and boxes to 10\nWeight limit of 60 pounds per bag or box\n\n\n\n\nVehicle Tires (Limit of 4; vehicle tires only\, no truck tires)\nWashing machines and dryers\nEffective February 1\, 2019\, for the health and safety of staff\, Prince George’s County residents requesting curbside collection of Bulky items will be required to completely cover mattresses and box springs in a protective plastic covering. Mattresses and box springs delivered to the landfill by residents will not be required to be covered in protective encasement.\n\nNon-Acceptable Materials\n\nAnimal carcasses\nAsbestos\nAsh\nAutomobiles or auto parts\nChemical and/or petroleum cleanup waste\nCompressed cylinders of any size\, shape or condition\nConstruction and demolition debris\nDrums\, tanks\, kegs and barrels (plastic and metal) greater than 55 gallons in size unless the sides are removed and the vessel flattened prior to collection\nFencing/sheds/gazebos\nGlass\nHazardous and bio-hazardous medical waste\nHome renovation/remodeling debris\nHousehold trash\nLiquids\, including paint\, sewage and septic waste\nMaterials from evictions\, foreclosures\, unoccupied properties\, commercial properties or apartment complexes\nMirrors\nPlastic packing materials and plastic sheeting\nRadioactive material\nRiding lawnmowers\nShingles\, roofing materials\nSkids and pallets\nSoil\, rocks\, grubbing material and spoil\nStumps and logs\nWindows\nWood (unless it is a piece of furniture)
